Unchained reports that Base has successfully reduced its block time from two seconds to 0.2 seconds as of 1 p.m. ET on Thursday. This upgrade, referred to as the Denim upgrade, means that any timer counting blocks will now run out ten times faster. The change aims to enhance transaction speed and efficiency on the network.
